Harris Combined Cycle Power Plant

The Harris Combined Cycle Power Plant is located 15 kilometers from the city of Harris, heading toward Tabriz. This power plant is designed with F-class technology and consists of one AEN-94.3A gas turbine unit with a rated capacity of 310 MW and one MT15 three-pressure steam turbine unit with a rated capacity of 180 MW.

One of the key characteristics of power plant units is their power generation capacity. The gas turbine in the Harris power plant, which operates under F-class technology, has a production capacity of 310 MW under ISO conditions. This is significantly higher compared to E-class turbines (which are commonly installed in the country and have a production capacity of approximately 160 MW). Furthermore, the steam turbine installed in the Harris Combined Cycle Power Plant can produce 180 MW, bringing the total power generation capacity of the combined cycle block to 490 MW under ISO conditions.
