Performing Process Studies at Morvarid Petrochemical Company
Morvarid Petrochemical Company is one of the largest olefin units in the country with an annual ethylene production capacity of 500,000 tons, accounting for 6% of the country’s ethylene production capacity on its own. The company also produces 500,000 tons of MEG annually, 50,000 tons of diethylene glycol (DEG), and 3,000 tons of triethylene glycol (TEG). The feed for this unit includes 340,000 tons of ethylene and 368,000 tons of oxygen per year, which are supplied from the ethylene and UT units.
In order to advance the objectives of its technical unit, overcome production obstacles, improve the current processes, and reduce production costs, Morvarid Petrochemical Company has entrusted the performance of process studies for some of its reform and development projects—which require specialized and experienced personnel to Ideh Tadbir Maham Company.
Our scope of work in this project includes process studies, feasibility studies, and engineering, including simulation of the seawater network in the Olefin and MEG units, process analysis of compressors, review and redesign of process columns, and more.
